From the inception of ANSON, it has been the policy of the Directors to thoroughly research all products to ensure that they meet the requirements of the industry and to produce them to the highest Quality and Safety Standards. As a consequence, ANSON has grown in size over the years, while also earning a reputation for reliability and safety second to none. To ensure the continuation of these high standards, ANSON is regularly audited by Accredited Certifying Authorities.

ANSON Quality Assurance and Management Systems have developed since the ANSON's inception:

• BS.5750 Part 1 British Standards Specification for Design/Development, Production Installation and Servicing. Original ANSON qualification date 1986.
• NS.5801 Norske Standard Specification for Design/Development, Production, Installation and Servicing. Original ANSON qualification date 1986.
• ISO.9001 1987 International Standards Organisation. Model for Quality Assurance in Design/Development, Production, Installation and Servicing. Original ANSON qualification date 1988.
• NS ISO.9001 1988 Norske Standard as ISO.9001-1987. Original ANSON qualification date 1989.
• BS.EN.ISO.9001 1994 New Specification covering ISO.9001 became effective in July 1994. ANSON reassessed and qualified December 1994.

Anson Awards

ANSON has twice been honoured by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and presented with her personal Award in recognition of Technological and Export Achievements.

An ANSON Apprentice turned Engineer was awarded with the Northern Offshore Federation's (NOF) most coveted accolade "Young Achiever of the Year: 2004"

ANSON was and still is the only Company to ever receive two Northern Business Awards on the same night.

ANSON having won an earlier Spur award for plug valves, was proud to accept a Smart award for the ANSON actuated valve system.
